Superfly is the main hangliding/paragliding company of South America and is responsible for the development of the Paralife Project. Working in partnership with G-Mar (lifeguards), Paralife pilots use paramotors as a rescue tool to identify drowning victims in risk areas. The "angels of the air", as they are called, throw the life preserver onto the victim's hand and alert the lifeguards for prompt assistance.

This creative and pioneering project inspired coverage in the French journal Le Figaro and in the press in China, Holland and Switzerland. In Brazil, the Project registers 39 minutes in television press and 30 articles in journals and magazines, as well as several articles on the internet all highlighting the social impact of this unique idea. The project was presented at the International Congress of Drowning which took place in Amsterdam (July 2002). Superfly is the only company in the world able to certify pilots and prepare professionals to save lives using the paramotor as an effective rescue tool.
